It doesn't deserve a 3 star status. The lounge is very misleading as the staff there is helpful, polite, well informed and quick to act. Lobby is clean and smart, although small. But the rest everything is pathetic. Room: A staff member (non uniformed) was sent with me to 'check' the room. All he did was switch on the AC and left. There was no complimentary water bottles or RO water or any sort of drinking water in the room. No ventilation - no windows, no view. There is a running glass counter in the room which was dirty to the extent that it had few strands of hair on it!! The sheets were stained with crumbs on it. The bathroom had no lock. The pot had horrible stains! There is a toilet paper holder but no toilet paper. There was an almost empty roll with a torn off end on the bathroom counter though. The counter also had a half used tube of a tiny 5 rupee colgate toothpaste. There was a shower enclosure in the bathroom, again, no door. In fact, there was no need for the enclosure because turning on the shower flooded the entire bathroom regardless. The toiletries provided were of the cheapest quality possible. The towels used to white at one point but weren't anymore. Room service: I understand that during the corona pandemic, the restaurant was shut and limited menu was available. But the kitchen was uninformed of what they had. I ordered one thing and in a few minutes I got a call that it won't be possible for the kitchen. I ordered another thing, they accepted the order, only to call again a few minutes later to inform that it won't be possible. The food at dinner was.decent though. Breakfast was also served in the room. For a vegetarian, options included aloo parantha (which came undercooked, thick, more flour than aloo) and sandwiches. There was no toast! No jam. And I don't know which brand of butter was used and for how many years it had been frozen. Instead of toast I was offered four pieces of grilled bread. So cold that there was no way the hard rock butter could ever melt on it. I also ordered warm milk. They had no health drink like bournvita, complain, Horlicks, milo or cocoa powder. So they sent Chocos cereal instead. I can bet that it wasn't Kellogg's! It was stale, non crunchy and pathetic to taste. I am shocked that they call themselves a premier hotel of the region despite this level of service. Horrible experience!

Stayed for a night. Its OK hotel to stay with no frills. Food is good specially the buffet breakfast with reasonable options. Has some parking option as well in front of the hotel entrance. Overall OK experience.

Good Hotel can be much much better if they work on presentation. Room are big full of space, staff is good but can be better.. food is good. Location of the hotel is also good and well connected.. Now the problems... you will find that rooms are clean but not upto the mark, washroom has door but it does not close.. Bathtub is there but water pressure is not, AC not working properly, TV with DTH is there but you wont be able to watch maximum channels because of subscription is missing .. I stayed there and I was thinking that Hotel is good, food is good, staff is good but still why i am not fully satisfied and I found that because of these small problems I was not satisfied.. I think Hotel can become Excelent only if they keep these small thing controlled..

I have stayed here for 1 night on 5th. The room was newly renovated, but there was bad smell in the room. Now I came again yesterday late night due to back to back official travel. At morning, when I opened the door of bathroom, a lizard falls down from the roof. I already asked the manager that there should not be any lizard in my room. There boothroom's roof is also shared with two room, so not hygienic. I will never prefer this hotel for stay again.

01-03 February, 2019. We were in Rohtak on official work, four of us. We reached the city in the morning of 01 February, Friday. We were four of us, booked in Hotel Rivoli in the city, at a central location. We had actually come in from a side lane, instead of the main road. The hotel is bang on a main road, the Sonepat Road, and is close to the Sheela bypass. The reception area is impressive, manned by quite a few friendly gentlemen. The reception area also features a large number of photographs of celebrities who have visited the hotel before, primarily cricketers. The reception area has a clock (we reached at 11am!), a fan and a portable air conditioner unit. We went to our respective rooms to freshen up, and prepare ourselves for the day(s) ahead. I was assigned room 502 on the fifth floor. The room had on entering, to the left, a small side-table beside a queen size bed, with a nice colour scheme corresponding to most of the hotel. White and dark brown, with cream breaking the contrast. The floor had a faux wood covering. The bed-stead had soft cream-coloured cushioning. The curtains were deep yellow in colour. There was a soft office chair towards the window (which also had an air-conditioner, which we did not need in the cold North Indian weather). There were two soft pillows, and two cushions, with a nice lead pattern on a cream base, a pattern which was on the bed runner as well. The lighting was graded, and sufficient. The small office-space was next to the wall (which was visible straight on entering the room). This part also had an electric kettle with facilities to prepare hot beverages (which were replenished daily, along with bottled water, and the supplies in the bathroom). There was a wall-mounted TV on the wooden panelled wall. There was a small glass circular centre table. To the right on entering the door, was a small baggage area, a wall-mounted mirror, and a large wooden cupboard. The bathroom was in front of this place. Neat and clean, and well-stocked, this also followed the general colour scheme of the hotel. The bathroom had a intercom phone as well, in addition to one in the room. The overall ambience of the hotel is quite nice, with a nice well-lit corridor (with concealed lighting), patterned walls and a faux marble floor. We also patronised the restaurant, `Dhaba' regularly for breakfast on the next two days. We had early starts on both days: the management were gracious enough to have some breakfast prepared for us (including some hot tea!).
